Rehearsal is my working version of that belief: it remembers what a learner saved, practised, answered, misunderstood, and improved, then turns those traces into the next prompt, feedback moment, or reviewable proof. It is not only a mock-interview app; it is a memory-bearing practice layer for skills, judgment, and institutional learning.

The first Generative AI Playbook on Assessment Redesign

A practical roadmap for institutional AI adoption

Most GenAI guidance stops at do's and don'ts. We saw early that the harder problem was assessment redesign: students needed clarity, but faculty needed the deeper operating framework. Over the last two years, we trained Jaipuria Institute of Management faculty to redesign assessments for AI-native classrooms. Every course outline now maps AI competency levels using the MIST framework for assessment design that we developed. The playbook is the public version of that work.

Some lessons we learnt along the way...

The handoff changed

GenAI does not only speed up an existing task. It changes task sequencing, handoffs, and interdependence, often requiring the team to invent a new way of doing the work.

Generation is easy. Verification is difficult.

Generating art or text is fast. Verifying it is the hard part. Without verification loops, AI outputs remain vulnerable to hallucinations and inaccuracies. The real moat is automating the verification loop itself so quality depends less on constant human checking.

Enterprises need cross‑skilling, not upskilling.

Generative AI rewards systems thinkers: people who can see how tasks, review gates, data, and roles will be reworked. The strongest GenAI talent is often not the most experienced tool user, but the person who can imagine the changed workflow before the tool is deployed.

As a recurring resource for multiple institutes of excellence in India, I get to work with GenAI use cases far beyond generic productivity training: automated financial-crime analysis, fine-tuning SLMs for oil exploration, automatic SEO/GEO refreshes, voice-based applications, and other domain-specific adoption problems.
