Rehearsal

Rehearsal turns notes, recordings and saved material into evidence about what you know. Ask questions with sources behind the answer, then practise explaining your experience.

The approach
Saved evidence, source-linked answers and practice

Useful evidence is often scattered.

A person may collect notes for months and still struggle to explain what they know. The evidence sits across things they read, work they did and thoughts they recorded.

Rehearsal connects that material to questions about strengths and gaps. Answers refer to saved sources, so the learner can inspect what supports them.

Preparation becomes something you can review.

A learner can use saved material to prepare for a mock interview, then review how clearly they expressed an answer. The interview report gives feedback on delivery, including pace and filler words.

The app keeps reflection close to the work. The question is whether a person can use their own evidence to make a clearer account of their experience.

My role connects the learning idea to the interface.

I lead product at Rehearsal and have done much of its frontend development. That involves decisions about what people save, how they retrieve evidence and what they can examine after practice.

The screens on this page are the actual mobile app. They show the smiley home screen and Ask. The report below shows the review after interview practice.

After practice, the learner can examine the delivery of their answer.

The learning questions also shape my teaching.
